Sizemac

Support

Write to support@sizemac.app and a person answers.

A shortcut did nothing

Open Tremor Log from Sizemac’s menu. A move an app would not allow is there, marked refused, with the app’s name and the reason. The usual reasons:

  • The window is in full screen. Leave full screen first (⌃⌘F in most apps).
  • Accessibility is off. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Accessibility (called Device Control and Data Access on macOS 27), and turn Sizemac on. Sizemac notices by itself; nothing needs restarting.
  • Another window manager is running. SizeUp, Rectangle, Magnet and the rest answer the same kind of keys. Sizemac says so in its menu and offers to quit it.
  • The trial has ended. Shortcuts and layouts pause until you enter a license key.

A new Mac

A license covers every Mac signed in to your Apple Account. Install Sizemac on the new one and paste the same key into Settings, then License.

A lost license key

Have it sent again to the address you bought with. If that address is gone too, write to support@sizemac.app and a person will dig it out.

The newest version

Open Settings, then About, and press Check Now. Sizemac also checks once a day by itself; the switch for that is beside it.

Refunds

Fourteen days from purchase, no questions asked. The details are in the Terms.

Removing Sizemac

Quit it from its menu, drag it from Applications to the Trash, and delete ~/Library/Application Support/Sizemac. That folder holds your settings, layouts and Tremor Log. macOS also keeps Sizemac’s preferences file and a Keychain entry for the trial’s start.
